The Nebari Tree

Located in one of the finest restaurants in Dubai, overlooking the Burj Khalifa

An overgrown juniper bonsai, reimagined and imbued with light. The artists and engineers at Color+light took inspiration from the Bonsai, which symbolizes harmony and peace, and bring joy as gifts to friends and family. 

Nebari pushes the boundaries of art and technology. By day, it is a towering yet dormant 16 foot tall Bonsai Tree. By night, the tree comes alive. Inside its leaves are a total of over 11,000 individually addressable, full color LEDs. Nebari’s lighting content is inspired by nature, and its current environment. Each of its 1,000 leaves will turn a myriad of ever-swirling colors, captivating anyone in the tree’s vicinity.
