Rainbow Bridge

Rainbow Bridge

Installation by Looking Up Arts

Rainbow Bridge is a 75-foot wide, 30-foot high, 4-foot deep walkable sculpture covered in multicolored LEDs. The arch serves as a cheerful landmark by day and a stunning light show by night. We love rainbows, because they evoke love, magic, hope, inclusivity, and wonder.

It was recently installed in Liverpool, UK from March 23rd to April 5th for the 2021 River of Light Trail, an illuminated outdoor public art gallery.

Looking Up Arts Foundation is a San Francisco-based non-profit organization established in 2018 dedicated to large-scale art installations. It’s built of artists, engineers, scientists, and makers. They strive to introduce whimsy, invite curiosity, and stimulate community participation through interactive light, sound, and structure. They have done over a dozen large public art builds including Rainbow Bridge, Phoenicopterus Rex, and Cone Down. Rainbow Bridge has toured all across the United States and Phoenicopterus Rex is currently on long-term installation as a part of the Downtown Las Vegas Project. Looking Up Arts has done large permitted installations on public land in Ohio and Florida, and installations on private land in California, Nevada, and Florida.
